was that a flutter?

so, yesterday morning i was laying awake in bed waiting for wayne to wake up. i was just thinking about a lot of different things. i guess it was just my "quiet time" before bo woke up and wanted to play. as my thoughts were far, far away i felt a little thump in my lower abdomen. it definitely caught my attention. then i felt it again three additional times. then i realized that i was feeling my baby move around in my belly. not sure if it was a kick, punch, or just some movement but i definitely could tell that it was the baby. i was really excited. i told wayne about it when he woke up but he kinda just gave a silly chuckle and said, "oh, it's just gas". we both just laughed.

i didn't feel it again for the rest of the day. maybe because i was moving around too much and just didn't take the time to think about it. well, this morning while i was sitting in church, i felt 4 little thumps again. that just gave me the definate assurance that it is my baby moving in there. maybe the baby will be a morning person -- i haven't felt him/her again today. we will see. but it definately helps to know that the little person is moving around in there. it kinda tells me that something is okay in there -- because somedays i just worry, but i guess that is just the natural thing of being pregnant.

we will definately be sure if everything is okay in 9 days when we have our ultrasound! we can't wait!!
