29 weeks

today marks 29 weeks for jackson and me and boy is he growing! i think this past week i have felt more stretch pains in my belly than i have the whole time i have been pregnant. my stretch marks are also getting a little bit darker.

i went to the doctor tuesday -- just for the normal check up and my glucose testing. he also checked my thyroid as I was slightly hypothyridic (i hope that is a word) when i found out i was pregnant. well, i got a call today that all my lab work was fine!! WOOOHOOO!!! so excited. my thyroid medicine won't have to be increased AND i do not have gestational diabeties! when i found out that my cousin had it with her baby, i was a little worried, but all of those worries are now behind me. maybe, just MAYBE i won't have a big baby after all. i can just hear my mom saying "yeah, right" as she reads this! for those of you who do not know, I was almost 10 pounds and my brother was almost 12!! so big babies are in my genes. i guess we will just have to wait and see.

the doctor did say that my weight was still doing well as i have only gained 4 more pounds... (totalling 9) and my blood pressure is excellent. i now have to start going every 2 weeks. we are getting closer and closer!!
